Health and Safety and Environment protection
The Health and Safety of our employees, sub-contractors and those affected by our construction works is of the highest priority. We take a number of steps to ensure that our works are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, these include:
• Regular Health & Safety Consultations
• Open door policy
• CHAS Accredited Contractor
• CSCS / CPCS 100% compliance target
• Interaction with local communities
• Regular procedural reviews
• Detailed employee training programme
All these initiatives are being driven by our Directors with full support available for all employees and stakeholders. In conjunction with our Environmental Policy, we formulate Pollution Prevention & Waste Management Plans for almost every construction site. These plans take account of all environmental factors and produce strategies for undertaking the construction works in the most environmentally sound way. With regard to resource efficiency we aim to reduce wastage via bulk order monitoring and timed material deliveries and then re-use waste materials where possible. Any remaining waste is segregated on site and disposed of at relevant recycling facilities.
